Wow! We have a lot of news this month...

Dear Friends,

I'm pleased to present to you our FIRST newsletter as Eye On Romance! As most of you know I left as founder and owner of Romance Designs, but was pleased to take the romance community websites with me. Our newsletters will come from Eye On Romance, which will be our main hub and information center. Our featured author news and contests will come from there as well as some spectacular new newsletters headed your way soon.

The Romance Writers Network (our romance communities are listed below) have all been redesigned and I am working hard to add new features. I will be continueing to work on adding great and fun new features, like "Search By Locale", "Search By Character Type" and more.

Also, I will be launching SciFiRomanceWriters.com this month.

August 2008 News from...LISA JACKSON

	LEFT TO DIE is in stores now!!! It seems like I've been waiting forever for this book to be released. Not that it was that long ago that I wrote it, but LEFT TO DIE was a fun book and I was able to introduce new characters in this thriller. Set in the Bitterroot Mountains of Western Montana, the story centers around a diabolical killer who saves his victims only to leave them to die slowly in the frigid wilderness. 	I'm counting the days until THE DEBS is released on August 26, 2008, and I can hardly wait! It's the first in my new young adult series for Random House about four Houston prep school seniors as they maneuver their way through their debutante season. Think "Gossip Girl with a Texas drawl" or "Gossip Girl on mint juleps." Though the setting is my old hometown of Houston, not Manhattan, and the characters are strong-willed Southern girls. Just who are THE DEBS? Well, there’s Laura Bell, the size 14 trust fund baby who doesn’t fit the mold; Mac Mackenzie, the down-to-earth bookworm reluctant to embrace her deb destiny; Ginger Fore, the adorable tree-hugger with a bad-boy college crush; and, finally, the deliciously evil Jo Lynn Bidwell, a former beauty queen who makes it her mission in life to take out the debu-trash.
